Many times throughout the Bible, God's true followers are referred to as his flock, or his sheep. Sheep are innocent, gentle, meek creatures that bear qualities similar to the ones we are supposed to foster in ourselves. As we see in Matthew Chapter 25, Jesus refers to the righteous as "sheep" and the unrighteous as "goats." baphomet, one of the devil's favorite idols, is part goat.
