Marvel is an important word in the Bible. Many very key passages feature this word. I think the reason they named the HUGE comic book company marvel is so when people think of this word, they think of made up superheroes, rather than Jesus who ACTUALLY walked this earth and performed miracles. This is an example of redirection.
